[Trem Devotional 13 March 2021] Topic: God Is Not A Taker
Point: God Is Not A Taker (TREM Devotional 13 March 2021)
“… By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for on the grounds that thou hast done this thing, and hast not retained thy child, thine just child: That in gift I will favor you, and in increasing I will duplicate thy seed as the stars of the paradise, and as the sand which is upon the beach; and thy seed will have the entryway of his adversaries; And in thy seed will every one of the countries of the earth be honored; on the grounds that thou hast submitted to my voice.” Genesis 22:16-18 KJV
God didn’t request Ishmael yet Isaac, the one Abraham adored. Review that Abraham had hung tight for Isaac for a very long time before the guarantee ultimately showed. A while later, God comes saying: ”carry him to me and penance him to me on a mountain I will show you.” When Abraham saw the mountain a far distance off, he told the workers stand by behind. “… Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the fellow will go there and love, and return again to you” (Genesis 22:5 KJV). Notice that Abraham said: “I and the fellow will go there and love… ” He didn’t say to slaughter him. God isn’t an executioner or a taker!
At whatever point God requests something from you, it is to your greatest advantage. I have seen that all through the sacred writings. At the point when your penance becomes love, God will show you what His identity is. At the point when Abraham lifted his hand to execute his child, God appeared. He said: “I simply needed to realize the amount you love me. I needed to know whether you favor this blessing than me the Giver! A sheep has effectively been given.” That is the thing that Jehovah ‘Jireh’ signifies.
Ever before you got to the pile of compliance, God was at that point there for your benefit. The slam was trapped in a shrubbery. Take a gander at that! You realize that rams battle with their horns. God was saying essentially, ”I have removed the battle from your approval.” You won’t battle to get it. No more battle! You are getting it delivered to you.
