From the young age of 8, Mercy Chinwo began her journey into music. She was a part of the Children’s choir in her church. She was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers state on September 5, 1990, to a family of five. She is the first daughter, and thus had responsibilities upon her. Losing her father at a young age was a tragedy for her, making her have to fend for herself and her siblings.
