12 Now the children of Eli were children of Belial; they knew not the LORD.

13 And the ministers’ custom with individuals was, that, when any man offered penance, the cleric’s worker came, while the substance was in fuming, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his grasp;

14 And he struck it into the container, or pot, or boiler, or pot; all that the fleshhook raised the minister took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto every one of the Israelites that came yonder.

15 Also before they consumed the fat, the cleric’s worker came, and said to the man that forfeited, Give tissue to broil for the minister; for he won’t have drenched substance of you, yet crude.
